In the ever-evolving landscape of digital innovation in the marketing industry, staying ahead requires a fusion of data, analysis and insight. This was the driving force behind Think with Google, our platform for sharing knowledge and inspiration with marketers around the world.
More than a year of my tenure as Lead Designer at Think With Google was dedicated to a monumental task: leading the complete redesign of our website. Working closely with a team of three talented designers, our goal was to reimagine how information can be seamlessly shared across the globe through design.
I was responsible for creating the UI kit, shaping the illustrations, orchestrating the interactions and integrating the core products essential to marketers such as Google Trends, Find My Audience and Market Finder. It wasn't just about aesthetics; it was about creating an immersive user experience that would resonate across continents and cultures.
Once the new design went live, the journey didn't stop. It was only the beginning of an ongoing iterative process. We delved into refining various components - from video and audio interfaces to improving search functionality. We also ventured into creating novel interactions that would not only enhance the Think With Google experience, but also extend to other Google platforms. This involved replicating and enhancing these interactions across multiple Google sites, including the audio player and personalized recommendations.
The launch of the redesign marked a turning point, but it was the ongoing iteration that truly transformed the user experience.
